Grumpy Old Men!

This weekend I was surprised with a weekend trip to Wabasha, home of the movie "Grumpy Old Men!" We didn't do any ice fishing like the grumpy old men, but went to visit the birds at the National Eagle Center and looked around the town. Wabasha is on the Mississippi River, where it narrows so that it doesn't freeze during the winter, making it a favorite winter home for bald eagles. In addition to the ones we saw close up, we saw bald eagles sitting in the trees along the river and flying over the snow covered fields.
