So, we've been here for two weeks now so I thought I should put up some pictures of the apartment and the neighborhood. Moving was actually not a bad process, we put all our stuff into these cool container things, which were then shipped here while we drove out in the car. We stopped overnight in Chicago, but I left my camera battery in Pittsburgh so I don't have any pictures of Millennium Park or the city (watch the Dark Knight if you want to see what it looks like!).

Our apartment is great (now we've finally finished unpacking). We got rid of a bunch of old furniture so we had to get a few new things - that meant a trip to IKEA and getting friendly with Mr Alan Key. Had a few disagreements after I put all the drawers together backwards, but thankfully football season had just started so we were able to watch the rejuvenated Ravens while we worked!

Lake Calhoun is just two blocks away, so its easy to walk down and get on the trail that runs around the lake. I walked it yesterday, it takes about an hour to walk around the lake, but you can take other trails that take you around Lake of the Isles or Lake Harriet, the other lakes in the "Chain of Lakes".
