Bike ride

I got a bike a few months ago, with thanks to my bike guru Tamar and Brent at Recovery Bikes - I love it! This weekend we took advantage of the weather to explore Minneapolis's bike trails, which go on for miles around the lakes and the Mississippi. I calculated the mileage on mapmyride.com when we got back and it was 17.75 miles! Very impressive.

We went around Lake Harriet near our house, then along Minnehaha Creek to the waterfalls at Minnehaha Park, with a quick stop at the Seasalt Eatery for some fish tacos! We took the path along the Mississippi then the Midtown Greenway, a bike path along an old railway line back to the house.

It was a long ride towards the end, but it was beautiful along the creek and we took our time so I really enjoyed it - and now for some action shots of the route!
