Apples!

Fall also means apple season so this weekend we went to Afton to pick some for ourselves (we may have sampled a few off the trees also to make sure they were good!) Appropriately for the home of Charles Schulz, the farm also had huge pum[king patches, so we picked up a couple of those for halloween! Afton State Park was just up the road from the orchard so we took a walk along the St Croix river, although the warm weather has fooled the leaves into thinking it is still summer so it wasn't as colorful as I expected.
