Tomatoes

The end of summer means the end of summer produce from our garden and the CSA crop share we've been getting veggies from. So, like true Minnesotans, it was time to can our tomatoes in preparation for the long cold winter. Thanks to my friend Emily, who provided the equipment and the canning know-how, we were ready to can! After peeling the tomatoes, squishing them into glass canning jars, sealing and cooking the jars in canning bath we were all set for winter tomato goodness...
