More biking adventures
In search of new trails to ride, we ventured out of the city to the South-East corner of the state last weekend to Lanesboro and the Root River Trail. This is a mecca for bikers and the little town was packed with spandex! Its dairy country, and the countryside is pretty and green, with a few hills, but the trail is along a railway grade and so fairly flat and easy going. We rode a total of 40 miles, calculated on my nifty little bike computer, then had a celebratory beer before the drive back to Minneapolis.
