Its that time of the year, when Minnesotans thoughts turn to fall, and corn dogs - State Fair time! This year we went twice to fit in all the time we needed to eat all the deep fried offerings and fair favorites and to see all the sights.

Over 100,000 Minnesotans come to the fair every day for its 10 day run

First meal of the day: fried cheese curds!

Sweet Marthas cookies and all you can drink milk

Just-born lamb in the Miracle of Birth Center

Minnesota's largest boar Reggie, weighing in at 1450 pounds!

Fried bacon on a stick

Deep fried loaded mashed potatoes on a stick

The Dairy Princesses of the Fair are sculpted in butter

Largest pumpkin at the fair, weighs half as much as Reggie

Political seed art (why are all the seed artists so liberal?)
