Sun, sand, and frites

This weekend was the Minneapolis Aquatennial, a celebration of all things lake and summer related. We missed the highly competitive milk carton boat race, but arrived in time to see the judging of the sandcastle competition.

Then it was off (on our bikes like good Minneapolitans) to the Bastille Day celebrations sponsored by the neighborhood French restaurant. Vive la Revolution! Champagne et pomme frites avec aioli, c'est magnifique!
